David Tennant, Rupert Grint and Jim Broadbent will lead an all-star voice cast for a new Postman Pat movie.
The film is called Postman Pat: The Movie - You Know You're The One. It will see the animated postman taking part in a television talent contest and achieving overnight fame.
Episodes and Green Wing actor Stephen Mangan will voice Pat. He said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be playing the world's best-known postman in his big-screen debut. He's an iconic British hero and it's a great script.
"However, when I excitedly told my 3-year-old son that I was going to be Postman Pat, he said, 'No you're not, dad, don't be silly'."

Postman Pat made its debut on BBC One in 1981 and the announcement was made to mark the character's 30th anniversary.
Harry Potter star Grint added: "I used to watch Postman Pat when I was a small boy. My brother and sisters all did at some stage.
"Postman Pat is one of those British symbols, I suppose. You are totally familiar with him and his cat Jess, even if you have never watched the series."
Academy Award winner Broadbent said that he was "excited" about working with "such an iconic figure".
Tennant and Broadbent have also appeared in the Harry Potter movie series as death eater Barty Crouch Jr and potions tutor Horace Slughorn respectively.
Postman Pat: The Movie - You Know You're The One is due to be released in 2013.
