Conan the Barbarian is to return to the big screen under the direction of Boaz Yakin, according to Variety.
Previously featuring in films in the guise of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the character was created by Richard E. Howard in the 1930s. As a life-long fan, Yakin (Remember the Titans) promises to direct a movie more faithful to the original concept than its predecessors.
Warner Bros is hoping to start production early next year.
