The Playboy founder was to marry fiancée Crystal Harris in June, but Harris called off the wedding just days before the ceremony was to take place.
Harris dismissed claims that she cheated on Hefner, saying instead that marrying the magnate simply wasn't "the right thing for [her] to do".
Hefner has now admitted that he's in no rush to walk down the aisle with either of his new girlfriends Anna Berglund or Shera Bechard.
"What I'm looking for the rest of my life is a romantic relationship, one that really matters. So I would not count marriage out - it's just not a high priority," Hefner told Access Hollywood.
The 85-year-old Hefner also insisted that he isn't planning to step down as Chief Creative Officer of Playboy anytime soon.
He joked: "I'm out when I'm dead. I think that doing what you love, work and play is what keeps you alive."
Hefner recently declared that he still has sex on a "weekly basis".
