Sigourney Weaver takes the 'Point'

Sigourney Weaver is in negotiations to join Dennis Quaid and William Hurt in Columbia Pictures' thriller Vantage Point.
Pete Travis will direct the movie about an assassination attempt on the US President (Hurt) told from five perspectives, each of fifteen minutes.
Weaver will play a TV news producer who is following the story, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Barry Levy wrote the screenplay.
