The three-and-a-half-minute clip gives a longer teaser of David Fincher's English-language adaptation of the first part of Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy.
Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara lead the cast, with support from Robin Wright, Stellan Skarsgård, Christopher Plummer, Geraldine James, Joely Richardson and Goran Visnjic.
Sony Pictures promises that "evil shall with evil be expelled" when the film is released on December 21, 2011.
