Singer's Superman to return in 3D
Parts of Superman Returns are to be converted from 2D to 3D.

The new version of the film will feature 20 minutes of 3D footage and open in 90 IMAX cinemas, in the United States, later this month.

There will be four 3D sequences in the new version of the film, including a flashback to Clark Kent's childhood, as well as a few action sequences.

Director Bryan Singer approved the conversion after watching test footage, but the whole film has not been converted due to time constraints, according to the New York Post.
