Hugh Jackman: 'Real Steel is first of my films that my kids love'

Hugh Jackman has revealed Real Steel is the first of his films that his children really love.

Speaking to Access Hollywood, the actor also claimed that his son shares a bed with one of the robots.

Jackman explained: "This is the first time they've really connected with one of my films. I don't let them watch X-Men.

"Most of the time they don't really ask me much about my job. They come on set, but it's just dad, it's normal.

"This is the first time they were like, 'We love this!' And they wanna take their friends. They have all the action figures. My son sleeps with Adam the robot."

The 42-year-old continued: "I read [the script of] Real Steel and my son made me read it to him for the next ten nights. So, I knew we were onto a winner then."

Shawn Levy's Real Steel, which also stars Evangeline Lilly and Dakota Goyo, opens in UK and US cinemas on October 7.
