The Mad Men star, who appeared opposite Wiig in the original, claimed that the Saturday Night Live actress is unlikely to reprise her role as Annie in any follow-up.
"I don't think Kristen is going to do it," Hamm told E! Online.
The actor went on to say that he would only come back for a second movie if Wiig agreed to return as well.
"They need to lock [Wiig] up before me," Hamm said.
In August, Bridesmaids star Melissa McCarthy revealed that though she would love to reprise her role as Megan, a Bridesmaids sequel has not yet been planned.
Director Paul Feig previously confessed that he is hesitant to make a sequel to Bridesmaids out of fear that it will not be as good as the original.
