Ellen Page cast in terrorist thriller 'The East'

According to Variety, the Juno star has been cast as Izzy, a member of the titular group of ecoterrorists.
Page's character becomes jealous of lead Brit Marling, who plays a law enforcement officer tasked with infiltrating the group.
The East also stars True Blood regular Alexander Skarsgård as the charismatic terrorist leader.
The film has been co-written by Marling and Batmanglij, and is being produced by Ridley and Tony Scott's company Scott Free Productions.
Page is currently shooting Woody Allen's new film alongside Penelope Cruz and Alec Baldwin.
