'James Bond 23': Bérénice Marlohe confirmed as new Bond girl

The French actress, who was first rumoured for the 007 movie in September, is a new addition to the cast alongside The Hour's Ben Whishaw and Harry Potter star Helen McCrory.
Marlohe recently screen-tested for director Sam Mendes at Pinewood Studios and was met favourably by producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson, reports the Daily Mail.

Javier Bardem will play the latest Bond villain and Ralph Fiennes is attached to the movie in an unspecified role. Judi Dench is to reprise her role as M, while other MI6 roles will be filled by Rory Kinnear (as Tanner) and Naomie Harris (Miss Moneypenny).
Craig's third outing as Ian Fleming's spy will open in cinemas on October 26, 2012. The movie is rumoured to be titled Skyfall.
