The first trailer for Albert Nobbs has been unveiled.
The film, which is based on a 1982 stage play, stars Oscar-winning actress Glenn Close as a woman who becomes the titular butler in order to find work in 19th century Ireland.
Close, who also wrote the screenplay, won an Obie Award when she played the role in the stage production.
The two-and-a-half minute preview features Close's co-stars Mia Wasikowska as maid Helen Dawes, Nowhere Boy's Aaron Johnson, Janet McTeer and Brendan Gleeson.
It also reunites Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Maria Doyle Kennedy, who appeared together in Showtime's award-winning drama The Tudors.
Wasikowska told Digital Spy that she believes Albert Nobbs is "a really original film", praising Close's performance as "fantastic".
Albert Nobbs - which is directed by Rodrigo Garcia - is expected to open in cinemas this December.
