Javier Bardem will be the latest actor to face off against James Bond in the forthcoming 23rd instalment of the spy series. The Oscar-winning star's 007 foe may be shrouded in secrecy, but there are plenty of other memorable bad guys from the Bond back catalogue.
Sean Bean, Robert Carlyle and Donald Pleasence have all had dastardly plots fouled by Bond across the franchise's 22 film history.
