Javier Bardem 'in talks for Despicable Me 2'
Javier Bardem is reportedly in talks to appear in Despicable Me 2.
The No Country for Old Men actor would play a villain in the animated sequel, according to The Hollywood Reporter.


If Bardem signs on for the role, he will play a character named El Macho, who has a son called Machito.
Despicable Me 2 is scheduled for a July 3, 2013 release from Universal and will be directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud. Voice actors from the first film including Steve Carell, Russell Brand and Jason Segel are expected to return.
Bardem recently confirmed his role as the main villain in the next James Bond film.
