Pecentage will be the first feature filmed in Flavor Units Studios, the Miami soundstages opened by Queen Latifah and her Flavor Unit Entertainment partner Shakim Compere, reports Deadline.
The drama will star Cam'ron, Omar Gooding, Macy Gray, Vhing Rames, Antwan Tanner, Robert Watson and Malinda Williams. Alex Merkin will direct Percentage, which is written by Ely Ottenberg.
Percentage tells the story of two New York hustlers (Cam'ron and Gooding), who - after a drug deal gone bad - move to Miami to build a new empire in credit fraud.
Though Queen Latifah has found success in the film industry, she has said that she was "most happy about becoming a rapper".
Next up for the rapper-turned-actress is the gospel choir movie Joyful Noises with Dolly Parton, who Queen Latifah has called an 'unbelievable icon'.
