Madonna's Abbie Cornish movie 'W.E.' unveils trailer - video

The three-minute promo teases the upcoming drama's twin storylines, which detail the affair between King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson, and a contemporary romance between a married woman and a Russian security guard.
Stars Abbie Cornish, Andrea Riseborough, James d'Arcy and Oscar Isaac can all be glimpsed in the trailer, which is set to a dramatic violin and piano score.
W.E. serves as Madonna's second directorial outing after 2008's Filth and Wisdom.
The movie's UK premiere takes place on October 23 in Leicester Square as part of the London Film Festival. It will be released in cinemas in the US on December 9, and in the UK on January 12, 2012.
W.E. first screened at the Venice Film Festival last month, where it was met with mixed reviews from critics.
