Gwyneth Paltrow and Michelle Monaghan are being considered for the Farrelly brothers' Seven Day Itch.
Loosely based on 1972's The Heartbreak Kid, the romantic comedy stars Ben Stiller as a newlywed whose other half isn't what he expected on their honeymoon, where he encounters another woman.
"Ben thinks he's married the girl of his dreams," Bobby Farrelly told the Boston Herald. "She's beautiful, but then, on their honeymoon, he finds out she's nuts."
Monaghan would play the new woman.
