'The X-Files'
The story focuses on a woman (Halle Berry) whose husband (Duchovny) dies suddenly. When the widow invites his best friend (Benicio Del Toro) to come to live with her family, they learn to accept their loss whilst his life also changes for the better.
His character being dead, Duchovny will appear in flashbacks.
Directed by Danish helmer Susanne Bier, the film is expected to begin filming in August, says The Hollywood Reporter.
