Pink cast in first starring role

Pop star Pink has secured her first major part as an actress in the new horror film Catacombs.

The 'Stupid Girls' singer will star alongside 40 Days and 40 Nights actress Shannyn Sossamon, with the pair playing sisters trapped in the catacombs of Paris.

Speaking to TeenHollywood, she commented: "It's pretty intense. It's not only a sort of slasher type, scary movie; it's also psychological and shows how mean and cruel siblings can be to one another. I liked that part of it."

Filming will take place in Romania next spring, and the project will be helmed by David Elliot.
