'Chronicle': 'New Cloverfield' gets explosive trailer - watch

20th Century Fox has released a trailer for Chronicle.
The found-footage film has been compared to Cloverfield, and features three teens who gain superpowers.
Written by Max Landis (son of John Landis) and directed by Josh Trank, the film follows the adventures of the friends who gain powers from a mysterious substance.
Initially they use them for mischief but turn on each other when things get more violent.
Chronicle stars Dane DeHaan (The Wettest County in the World), Michael B Jordan (The Wire) and Alex Russell as the three friends, with appearances from Ashley Hinshaw, Anna Wood and Michael Kelly.
Chronicle is not to be confused with the Ryan Phillippe and John Hawkes-starring indie project, which currently has the same name.
The film will be released on February 3 in the US and March 2 in the UK.
