Russell Crowe reveals 'Superman: Man of Steel' fight scene

The Gladiator star tweeted that his character Jor-El will face off against Shannon's General Zod in Zack Snyder's highly-anticipated superhero reboot.
"15km bike ride,umpteen hours fighting Michael Shannon (sic)," Crowe wrote. "He's very hard to put down."
Shannon recently confessed that he is nervous about his role in the film, insisting that he does not want to imitate Terrence Stamp's performance as Zod in 1980 film Superman II.
In September, it was reported that Ayelet Zurer had replaced Julia Ormond in the film as Superman's Kryptonian mother Lara Lor-Van.
In addition to Crowe and Shannon, Man of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and Laurence Fishburne.
Man of Steel opens in cinemas on June 14, 2013.
