'Game of Thrones' Kit Harington for 'Arthur & Lancelot'?

Kit Harington and Joel Kinnaman have emerged as the frontrunners to star in Warner Bros' big-screen Arthurian adaptation.

The studio has been holding readings for Arthur & Lancelot over the past few weeks, with the likes of Sam Claflin, Dominic Cooper and Jim Sturgess trying out in the UK.

However, The Hollywood Reporter claims that Harington and Kinnaman screen-tested together two weeks ago in London, although it is unknown whether the tryout was for separate roles.

Harington is best known for playing Night Watch guardsman Jon Snow on HBO's fantasy series Game of Thrones, while Kinnaman stars in AMC series The Killing.

The script has been written by Wedding Crashers director David Dobkin, who will also helm the project.

A decision on the leads for Arthur & Lancelot is expected soon.
