Aaron Sorkin has entered discussions to write the Steve Jobs biopic.
The Social Network writer has met with Sony to discuss the movie charting the late Apple co-founder's life, reports Los Angeles Times.

Sorkin is said to be considering the project, which will involve the adaptation of Walter Isaacson's official biography of Jobs.
Saving Private Ryan producer Mark Gordon and Management 360 are currently attached to produce the film.
Sorkin is considered the obvious choice for the project, but his role could be complicated by the fact that he knew Jobs in life.
Jobs passed away earlier in October after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
The release date of Isaacson's book - simply title Steve Jobs - was pushed forward following its subject's death.
