Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have revealed that they hope their characters Thompson and Thomson play a more active role in the Adventures of Tintin sequel.
The Paul stars told Digital Spy that they'd like to see their pair of bumbling detectives "along for the ride" with Jamie Bell's Tintin in Peter Jackson's follow-up.

Frost voiced his desire to do "a bit more swashbuckling", while Pegg said: "It'd be good to get in on the action, although the Thompsons would be dreadful in a fight, tripping over each other."
Tintin actor Bell added of the character's exploits in previous Hergé stories: "He goes under the water, he goes to the moon, he climbs a mountain... he's intrepid, he goes everywhere, Tintin, he's not afraid of anything."
British screenwriter Anthony Horowitz is at work on a Tintin sequel script, which will reportedly be based on Hergé books Prisoners of the Sun and The Seven Crystal Balls and introduce the character Calculus.
