The film is based on Channing Tatum's real-life experiences as a teenage stripper.
It stars Matt Bomer, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello and Olivia Wilde.
Warner Bros recently acquired the domestic rights to the movie, scheduling it for a June 29, 2012 release, Deadline reports.
Earlier this month, Bomer confessed that his role in Magic Mike has helped him develop a new appreciation for the make-up and wardrobe worn by strippers.
Tatum was allegedly caught up in an early-morning bar brawl in Chicago in early October.
