Superman Henry Cavill 'grateful for Man of Steel support'

Henry Cavill has said he is grateful that fans have embraced him in the role of Superman for Man of Steel.
The former Tudors star revealed that he is thrilled that fans have reacted well to the recently leaked images featuring him in character as the comic book superhero.
"I think the best part has been recently when people have sort of seen all the work that has gone into it," Cavill told MTV News.
"I think I won a lot of people over, and I felt the support really come behind me, which is a really good feeling, because when you're doing this all for [the fans], telling a story for them... you want to do it justice."
Cavill went on to say that he appreciates the support he has received, saying: "It's wonderful to have all the people online going, 'This is great, this is amazing, I can't wait, thank goodness it's him.'
"It's wonderful, so thank you to everyone out there."
Michael Shannon recently praised Cavill's casting, saying that he seems very appropriate for the part.
