'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest, Reese Witherspoon producing comedy

Ryan Seacrest is to produce his first movie.
The American Idol presenter and KIIS-FM radio host will produce a romantic comedy in partnership with Academy Award-winning actress Reese Witherspoon, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The film - which does not yet have a title - will be jointly produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions and Witherspoon's production house Type A Productions. Former Grey's Anatomy showrunner Krista Vernoff has been commissioned to write the script.
Witherspoon - who will next be seen alongside Tom Hardy and Chris Pine in This Means War - was hit by a car in September and received minor injuries. She has reportedly decided not to press charges against the driver of the vehicle.
Seacrest - who is also a producer and presenter on cable channel E! - was named the most powerful person in reality television in a Hollywood Reporter survey earlier this year.
