Benicio Del Toro to be 'Star Trek 2' villain?

According to Variety, the Wolfman star looks likely to portray the as-yet-unknown role, with sources claiming that even Del Toro is unsure of which part he is up for.
The sequel will see J.J. Abrams back to direct, while Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof have penned the film's script.
Star Trek stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchine and Zoe Saldana are all expected to reprise their roles in the sequel.
Production on Star Trek 2 is expected to begin in early 2012.
