Carey Mulligan 'scared to kiss Johnny Depp'

Carey Mulligan has admitted that she was nervous to kiss Johnny Depp.

The Drive star revealed that a scene in which she locked lips with Depp was cut from the movie Public Enemies because she looked so "uncomfortable".

"I did kiss [Depp] several times, but it got cut from the film," Mulligan said while appearing on The Graham Norton Show. "I think it was 16. Because I was so uncomfortable... it got cut because I looked so uncomfortable... I got so nervous."

The actress went on to confess that she is also starstruck by her Great Gatsby co-star Leonardo DiCaprio.

"I grew up watching everything he's ever done and it's difficult as I have to hide my inner fan when I am around him - it's terrible," Mulligan said.

She continued: "He claims not to be able to dance when we do a dancing scene and I have to hide the fact that I know he can because I saw him dance in Titanic."

Mulligan is rumoured to be taking the lead in the Coen brothers' next project Inside Llewyn Davis.

In September, the actress revealed that she moved in with Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn when she worked on the project.
