Oscar-nominated Leaving Las Vegas director Mike Figgis will helm the movie, which will be based on Neil LaBute's book of short stories from 2004.
LaBute, whose credits include In the Company of Men and the Wicker Man remake, will also pen the script, says The Hollywood Reporter.
Seconds of Pleasure brings together separate stories revolving around six different couples.
Scottish broadcaster STV is producing the movie, with STV Productions head of drama Margaret Enefer serving as a producer alongside Bill Shapter and LaBute.
"Neil has written an incredibly candid, blazingly witty script," Enefer said. "We know Mike Figgis will make it shine in the most sensitive and imaginative way possible. It's a thrill to have them working together with this amazing cast."
Figgis released his last full-length feature film, Love Live Long, in 2008.
