Kristen Stewart was just 12 years old when she made her breakthrough starring opposite Jodie Foster in thriller Panic Room.
The actress had appeared in more than a dozen movies before landing the career-defining role as Bella Swan in Twilight. Stewart then parlayed her success in the Stephenie Meyer series into small indie projects such as Adventureland and The Runaways.

A young Kristen Stewart got her first big role playing Jodie Foster's daughter in David Fincher's house-bound thriller Panic Room. Foster admitted that she saw potential in the future superstar at an early age: "Kristen isn't interested in blurting out her emotions all in front of her, and that results in really intelligent and interesting performances."
