Adam Sandler: 'Al Pacino's Jack & Jill role is hilarious'

Adam Sandler has predicted that Al Pacino's cameo appearance in Jack & Jill will be a hit with audiences.

In Jack & Jill, Sandler plays both a brother and sister who get on each other's nerves during a holiday reunion. Pacino, who plays himself, appears as one of Jill's suitors.

Sandler joked that filming romantic scenes with the legendary Academy Award winner was one of the most surreal moments of his life.

He told Access Hollywood: "We knew it was going to be hilarious - talking about life and him being bananas, and him being into Jill, getting to make fun of certain things, we knew it would be a great time. He was fantastic."

Sandler went on to joke that his daughters Sadie and Sunny are constantly asking him to reprise his role as Jill at home.

"My girls and my wife love Jill. In fact, in the car ride over here [to Jack & Jill's premiere], they talked to me about Jill the whole time - 'Why are you not doing Jill? You should put Jill's clothes back on'," he joked.

"It's been like five months, and they're angry with me. I might have to at least get the wig on."

Sandler has teased that he had trouble hiding his genitals while filming Jill's scenes.

Jack & Jill opens on Friday, November 11 in US cinemas and on February 3, 2012 in the UK.
