The actor explained that production on the third Harold & Kumar movie was quite different than its predecessors.
"We lived in a really idyllic small town in New Mexico, so all of my memories [of filming] are pretty fantastic," Harris told ET Online.
"Filming the movie in July and having to be all Christmas-ed out was a little bit crazy, but it speaks to our world... Every year it feels like Christmas is coming sooner and sooner."
His A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas co-star Kal Penn added that wearing festive clothing was the most uncomfortable part of shooting the movie.
Penn explained: "It's mostly uncomfortable when you have to wear winter jackets and it's 90 degrees outside. That's probably the only real drawback."
Penn recently revealed that he's enjoyed returning to acting following a stint working for the Obama Administration's Office of Public Engagement.
A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas is now playing in US cinemas and opens on December 9 in the UK.
