'Killer Pizza' movie in the works at MGM

The studio will produce the adaptation of Greg Taylor's teen horror novel, reports Deadline.
The script has been adapted by Adam Green (Hatchet, Frozen).
The story centres around a 14-year-old boy who takes a summer job at a pizza parlour.
He soon discovers that the restaurant is simply a front for a monster-hunting organisation.
The movie will be produced by Raffaella De Laurentiis, CJ Entertainment and Chris Columbus's 1492 Entertainment.
Columbus brought the project to the studio, which was looking for ventures similar to Gremlins and The Goonies.
