Daniel Radcliffe: 'I was allergic to Harry Potter's glasses' - video

Daniel Radcliffe spent a decade of his life sporting Harry Potter's glasses across eight blockbuster fantasy movies, but in Digital Spy's exclusive new video the actor reveals that he initially had a strong reaction against the iconic spectacles.
Speaking to Harry Potter author JK Rowling for the special features on the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 home release, Radcliffe admitted that the glasses caused him problems the first time he wore them.
"We put the glasses on and eventually we realised I was allergic to them," he said.
"I was allergic to the Harry Potter glasses because these two rings of whiteheads and spots had come up around my eyes. It took us about a week to realise that it was actually the glasses."
Rowling added: "It's lucky neither of us believe in signs, isn't it?!"

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is released on Triple Play Blu-ray 3D and DVD on December 2.
