Oscars 2012: Who should replace Eddie Murphy as Academy Awards host?

With the news that Eddie Murphy has followed Brett Ratner out of the door for 2012's Academy Awards, Oscar bosses AMPAS (Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences) will need to act quickly to install a new producing team and host in time for the ceremony on February 26.

Recent years have seen stars such as Billy Crystal, Steve Martin and Hugh Jackman oversee the movie industry's biggest awards bash, but should they return for another stint on the Kodak Theatre stage?
