Louis Leterrier has been tasked with directing the follow-up to Ang Lee's Hulk.
Marvel is pleased with securing the help of Leterrier, himself apparently an incredible fan of the company's comics. His past achievements include the Transporter films and Danny the Dog.
"His movies have humour and character depth set against fantastic action, and these aspects will be explored to the fullest extent in Hulk, " Marvel's Kevin Feige told The Hollywood Reporter.
Zak Penn, who co-wrote X2 and X-Men: The Last Stand, is writing the script.
