James Cameron's romantic drama will return to the big screen in 2012, 15 years after it broke box office records to become the highest-grossing movie of all time.
Titanic's $1.8 billion worldwide gross was surpassed by Cameron's science fiction blockbuster Avatar, which earned $2.7 billion, in 2010.
Titanic follows the tragic romance between Jack (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Rose (Kate Winslet) as they set sail on the ill-fated maiden voyage of the R.M.S. Titanic in 1912.
Billy Zane, Kathy Bates, Frances Fisher, Gloria Stuart, Bill Paxton, Bernard Hill, David Warner and Victor Garber co-starred in Titanic.
Titanic will return to 3D, Digital 2D and IMAX screens on April 6, 2012.
