'Twilight' Chaske Spencer: 'Breaking Dawn went out with a whimper'

Chaske Spencer has confessed that he found the experience of filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn exhausting.

The actor, who plays wolf pack leader Sam Uley in the vampire franchise, revealed that while he had a great time working on the Twilight films, he found the production process to be incredibly tiring.

"It was very tough. We shot until we saw the sun come up and we were very tired, so it wasn't like this magical moment," Spencer explained in a new interview with Parade.

"I just went home and went to bed. I didn't go out with a bang, I went out with a whimper! I was very tired."

However, Spencer insisted that there would never be another experience like the one he had on Twilight, adding: "It's like a party and all parties come to an end. It's been a fun run.

"I've had a great time and made some really great friendships, but it's over and I'm looking forward to moving on, but I'll always be grateful for this franchise."
