Actors Chris Klein and Freddie Prinze Jr. will star in new indie comedy New York City Serenade, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Set in mid-1990s Manhattan, the movie will follow an aspiring filmmaker stuck in a run-of-the-mill job as he visits a film festival with his best friend. The pair fall out, but are reunited unexpectedly eighteen months later.
The project will be written and directed by actor Frank Whaley, and Jamie-Lynn Sigler is also in talks to co-star as Prinze Jr's fiancee.
