Sacha Baron Cohen's Freddie Mercury biopic may be released under the title Mercury, producer Graham King has told Digital Spy.
King, who worked with Cohen on the Martin Scorsese 3D family film Hugo, also revealed that he hopes to begin production on the Queen movie in 2012.
"I can tell you the working title is Mercury. Whether that ends up being the title of the movie we're not sure yet," King said.
He added of the Freddie Mercury story: "He led such a big life and there's just so much to tell. Then you've got all the fantastic music. You've got to fit that in. It's not an easy one to put together but I'm pretty confident we'll be shooting that next year."
Screenwriter Peter Morgan previously said that he didn't want to write "an AIDS movie", instead choosing to focus on Mercury's troubled relationship with bandmates Brian May, Roger Taylor and John Deacon.
The movie will allegedly end with a recreation of the band's performance at Wembley Stadium for Live Aid in 1985.
