Tom Cruise to star in military sci-fi 'All You Need Is Kill'

The Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol actor will star in Doug Liman's big-screen adaptation of Hiroshi Sakurazaka's novel, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Cruise will play a soldier who repeats the same day over and over again to improve his skills and win a battle against aliens.
The movie will begin production in autumn 2012.
In November, Adam Sandler revealed that he offered to swap wives with Cruise while filming Jack & Jill. Cruise is married to Katie Holmes.
The 49-year-old star recently opened up about his role in the musical Rock of Ages, confessing that he finds singing to be scary.
Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol will be released in US cinemas on December 21 and on Boxing Day (December 26) in the UK.
