Hailee Steinfeld eyes 'Ender's Game' role

The Oscar-nominated True Grit actress is circling the role of Petra Arkanian, a girl in the Salamander Army who befriends the lead character Ender, reports Variety.
Hugo's Asa Butterfield will star in the title role, while Harrison Ford was recently linked to the part of Colonel Hyrum Graff.
Based on Orson Scott Card's novel, Ender's Game is set in a future when child prodigy are trained to be soldiers in a war against a hostile alien race.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine director Gavin Hood will step behind the camera for the adaptation, which will debut in cinemas on March 15, 2013 through Twilight studio Summit Entertainment.
