An 8-minute trailer for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo has debuted online.
The video promo, which has screened in US cinemas, provides an extended look at director David Fincher's Hollywood version of Stieg Larrson's Millennium Trilogy.
Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara star in the thriller, which centres on journalist Mikael Blomkvist and computer hacker Lisbeth Salander as they investigate a 40-year-old missing persons case.
Stellan Skarsgård, Robin Wright, Christopher Plummer, Joely Richardson, Julian Sands, Goran Visnjic and Joel Kinnaman co-star in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor earlier revealed that he and co-composer Atticus Ross will release a three-hour soundtrack for the movie.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo will open in UK cinemas on December 26 and in the US on December 21.
