Daniel LuVisi's story follows the adventures of an invincible super soldier 600 years into Earth's future who sets out to seek revenge after serving nine years in prison for a crime that he did not commit.

LuVisi is attached to produce alongside Scott Aversano.

Johnson's recents projects have included the forthcoming Clash of the Titans sequel Wrath of the Titans.

He also wrote an episode of Robert Kirkman's Walking Dead television adaptation.

Dead Man Standing debuted at Comic-Con International last year, where its entire print run sold out in just over two hours.
