Tom Wilkinson has reportedly signed a deal to return to the production of The Lone Ranger.
The Johnny Depp-starring project was put on hiatus by Disney in the summer, before getting the full go-ahead in October.

Director Gore Verbinski is now said to be looking to hire back the actors who originally signed to appear alongside Depp and leading star Armie Hammer in the project.
Disney has reportedly closed a deal with Luther star Ruth Wilson as the female lead, according to Deadline.
Wilkinson is also said to be returning as villain Latham Cole. They are now reportedly trying to secure deals with Barry Pepper, Helena Bonham Carter, James Badge Dale and Dwight Yoakum.
The Lone Ranger will open in cinemas on May 31, 2013.
