A new trailer for ParaNorman has debuted.
It introduces its star Norman Babcock (Kodi Smit-McPhee) and the plague of zombies that comes to threaten his hometown.
Norman is a misunderstood little boy who can see ghosts. He becomes his neighbours' only hope following an attack by the undead.
The animated movie is being produced by Coraline makers LAIKA.
The voice cast features Smit-McPhee (Let Me In), Casey Affleck, Tempestt Bledsoe, Jeff Garlin, John Goodman, Bernard Hill, Anna Kendrick, Leslie Mann, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Tucker Albrizzi, Alex Borstein, Jodelle Ferland and Elaine Stritch.
An earlier trailer was released in October.
ParaNorman will open on August 17, 2012.
