Matt Damon has revealed which film makes him cry.

Damon stars in Cameron Crowe's family drama We Bought a Zoo about a single father who moves his family to Southern California to renovate a broken down zoo.

He told Access Hollywood: "It is a tearjerker, but it's a life affirming one - the way Jerry Maguire always gets me all misty when I watch it.

"Men don't admit it, but Jerry Maguire - that one always gets to me, I think, in large part, because I don't feel like it's trying too hard."

Released in 1996, Jerry Maguire tells the story of a sports agent (Tom Cruise) who is fired from his job but continues to work for himself alongside the only athlete who stays with him (Cuba Gooding Jr).

Damon is to star in an upcoming crime movie with best fried Ben Affleck. The two actors won 'Best Original Screenplay' at the Oscars for Good Will Hunting.

We Bought a Zoo, which also stars Scarlett Johansson, Elle Fanning, Patrick Fugit and Thomas Haden Church, will be released to theatres on December 23 in the US and March 16, 2012 in the UK.
