The 13-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson will star in a mixed live-action animation titled Lundon's Bridge and the Three Keys.
She will star as a girl who survives a brainwashing by a "jellyfish queen" in the ocean, according to People.
Paris will star in five movies altogether in the Lundon O'Malley series. Producer Stephen Sobisky said: "She wants to be an actress.
"She wants to take on her dad's legacy and do something good for the world and our product does that."
Sobisky revealed that half of the profits made from the original book series and subsequent films will be donated to schools.
He added: "She is a sweet, smart girl. Our goal is to make sure she has a fun time doing something that keeps her busy. We're a family-driven group. For me, Paris is going to be like one of my children and I'm going to protect [her] just like I do my other three kids. We want her to enjoy this experience."
Jackson will appear in a live action role, alongside animated characters voiced by the likes of Larry King and wife Shawn, Joey Fatone and The Love Boat's Ted Lange. Filming is expected to begin in January, 2012, but no official release date has been announced.
