Ridley Scott 'is back again' in 'Prometheus' trailer teasers

Ridley Scott has teased his upcoming Prometheus trailer.

The two teasers have debuted ahead of the full trailer, and see the filmmaker talking over clips from the film and other scenes from on set.

20th Century Fox's trailer is expected to premiere at screenings of Sony's The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo before it is released online on Thursday, reports ComingSoon.net.

This is the second recent case of one studio debuting a trailer for another's highly anticipated film. Warner Bros' Dark Knight Rises prologue screened before Paramount's Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol last Friday.

Prometheus stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Charlize Theron, Idris Elba, Sean Harris, Kate Dickie, Logan Marshall-Green and Patrick Wilson.

The movie centres on a team of scientists and explorers who discover incredible secrets of existence and a whole lot more when they find themselves stranded on an alien planet.

Prometheus will open in cinemas in June 2012.
