James Franco plans Hugh Hefner cameo in 'Lovelace'

The Rise of the Planet of the Apes actor is in talks to appear in the Amanda Seyfried-starring biopic as the Playboy founder, reports Variety.
The role would see him re-team with Howl directors Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman.
The movie follows the life of legendary Deep Throat actress Linda Lovelace.
Based on Eric Danville's biography The Complete Linda Lovelace, it follows her through three stages in her life, from her origins as Linda Boreman to her later years as feminist and anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano.
Lovelace will also star Hank Azaria, Wes Bentley, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple.
Rival biopic Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story is to be written and directed by Matthew David Wilder, with Malin Akerman attached to star.
Hefner recently claimed responsibility for Lindsay Lohan's naked Playboy cover shoot.
Lovelace is in currently in production in Los Angeles.
